There’s an ancient appeal in the art of basket weaving- in creating something practical and useful the way folks have been doing for hundreds or thousands of years. In this workshop, we’ll create a small handheld basket over the course of 1.5-2 hours – talking through popular methods of weaving, as well as resources for those looking to explore further.

- Multiple pre-cut lengths of flexible natural reed in varied thicknesses, dyed to different shades
- Finished basket is about 3″ in diameter and perfect for a key dish, jewelry dish, or other catchall
